The school management has recently acquired an Ansys license for staff and student use. Below are the available Ansys grants and resources that both faculty and students can benefit from:
Faculty Resources
1. Ansys Funded Curriculum Program
Faculty interested in developing or enhancing courses that incorporate Ansys simulation software can apply for funding through the Ansys Funded Curriculum Program.
- Funding available: USD 5,000 per course
- Maximum funding per institution: USD 25,000 (up to 5 courses)
- Supports the creation of simulation-enabled curricula and learning experiences
- There are 2 calls for proposal submissions every year

Student Resources
1. Free Ansys Innovation Courses
Students can access a wide range of free, self-paced online courses covering topics such as:
- Structural analysis
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Electronics simulation
- Materials engineering
- Optics and photonics
- Additive manufacturing
- Engineering fundamentals
These courses combine theory with hands-on simulation exercises, allowing students to develop practical engineering skills at their own pace.
On completing a course, students get a completion badge that they can add on LinkedIn.
All they need to do is create a free account here and start learning.
2. Ansys Student Community Forum
Students can also join the Ansys Learning Forum on Innovation Space, where they can:
- Ask technical questions
- Get support from Ansys experts
- Learn from other students and educators
- Discuss simulation challenges and best practices
The forum provides an excellent platform for students to continue learning outside the classroom and receive guidance as they work through projects and coursework.
They can access the forum here.
3. Support for Student Teams
Ansys provides support to student engineering teams participating in activities such as:
- Formula Student / Formula SAE
- Baja competitions
- Rocketry and aerospace projects
- Robotics competitions
- Other engineering design challenges
Through this support, student teams can gain access to industry-leading simulation tools and resources to help improve design performance, reduce development time, and validate concepts before physical testing.
To learn more about the same, and apply, students can do so here.
4. Academic Webinar Series
Students are welcome to join Ansys academic webinars to learn directly from simulation experts.
These sessions provide opportunities to:
- Explore simulation applications in industry
- Learn the best practices in engineering
- Discover emerging technologies and trends
- Engage with the broader engineering community
Students can register for upcoming sessions or view recordings of previous webinars.
