NIM PRESIDENT VISITS AFIT, SEEKS MORE COLLABORATION IN CAPACITY BUILDING AND RESEARCH

The President of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Commodore Abimbola Ayuba (rtd),  has calledfor more collaboration with the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) in capacity building, research and other areas of mutual benefit. Commodore Ayuba made the call when he led a team of Fellows to the Institute as part of his familiarization visit to critical stakeholders in North East Nigeria. He said NIM will collaborate with AFIT to explore the interdisciplinary interface between technology and management in Nigeria. The President who expressed happiness at the cordial relationship existing between both institutes, urged members within AFIT to take advantage of NIM’s North West zonal meeting to renew their membership.

Ayuba added that, AFIT is a top-notch institution of higher learning which has contributed to the development of manpower in Nigeria. According to him, AFIT has built future technical leaders in Nigeria and NIM was ready to meaningfully to policy discussions that would help on the Institute’s path of progress and development. He solicitated for AFIT’s support through the submission of research papers toencourage NIN’s research efforts and publications in the field of management and administration. 

The AFIT Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Sani Labaran Rabe, while responding to the concerns of the visiting team, described NIM as a strategic institute in Nigeria. He disclosed as a registered member of the Institute, he was ready to improve the already existing cordial relationship between both institutes by providing both technical and professional support. The visit serves as an opportunity to strengthen institutional collaboration, promote professional development and reinforce AFIT’s commitment to excellence in education, management  and administration.

DEADLINE FOR UPLOAD OF DOCUMENTS

All candidates are to note that the deadline for the upload of WAEC/NECO results on JAMB CAPS for candidates who applied for admission into AFIT is 31st August 2025. Failure to upload results on or before the deadline will lead to automatic disqualification.
