Before you apply
Prospective students of AFIT must obtain the JAMB form, choose AFIT as First Choice Institute and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the admission exercise.
Also, applicants must complete the online AFIT Application Forms https://portal.afit.edu.ng/

Application Instructions
If this is your first login attempt,You are to login to the PUTME application portal using the format below:
Email: JAMB REGNO@afit.edu.ng
Password: Your Jamb Reg No
For example, Candidate with JAMB Reg No: 2024401234CE must login using 2024401234CE@afit.edu.ng as Username and 2024401234CE as password .
Afterwards you will be prompted to reset your email and password to continue.
For a successful application, candidates are expected to complete two basic registration processes as explained below:
- PAYMENT ONLINE
- APPLY ONLINE
- PAYMENT ONLINE:Candidates should login to the application portal by following the LOGIN Instructions above then proceed to make payment of the sum of N2,000.00 only via the available Online Payment Platform. There is no account no, applicants should simply enter their Debit card details to make the payment. The system is secured and will never store your card information. After a successful payment, the portal will redirect you back to the Application portal and enable you to proceed with your bio-data information.
- APPLYING ONLINE: Applicants are expected to fill all necessary fields on the application portal. Please submit the online admissions application, completing all required fields. The online application can be completed in several sessions. You can save and come back later to complete your application. Note however you must remember your EMAIL and generated PASSWORD because you will require them to resume your application.
To use the online Web application, you will need to have Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape version 4.0 or higher.
Use the ‘Step’ functions to navigate to a previous page in your application.
Use mixed (proper) case when supplying name information. Mixed case refers to capitalizing the first letter of each word of a proper noun.After submitting your application online, ensure that you print a copy of the application for your records.
Correcting an Online Application
Once your application has been submitted (accomplished by hitting the ‘submit’ button at the end of the form), you cannot make corrections to it online. Please review your application carefully before you submit.
