Meet the Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering – WING COMMANDER SHEHU MUHAMMAD CHINDO
Wg Cdr Shehu Muhammad Chindo attended Gotomo Model Primary School, Gotomo, from 1983 to 1988 where he obtained his Primary School Certificate. Thereafter, he proceeded to Haliru Abdu Arabic Seconadry School in Birnin Kebbi for his Secondary School education in 1989. In 1991, Chindo proceeded to the then Government Science College, (now Nagari College) in Birnin Kebbi for his Senior Secondary School education. It was at this College that the officer obtained his Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in 1994.
Chindo started his military career in 1995 when he was admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy as a member of 47 Regular Course. He passed out of the Academy in Sep 2000 and was commissioned into the Nigerian Air Force in the rank Pilot Officer. Chindo graduated from the Academy with a Bachelors Degree (B.Eng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In the Year 2007, the officer was at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, where he obtained a Masters Degree (MTech) in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. The officer has attended several military courses since his commissioning. They include:

Advanced EW Course at 606 R&D Wg, Pakistan Air Force Base, Baderber, Peshawer, Pakistan in May 06.
Senior Course at Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, United States, Jun 09 to Jun 10.
Wg Cdr Chindo has also served in many units since his commissioning. He is presently the Head of Department Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Airforce Institute of Technology, Nigerian Airforce, Kaduna Oct 17 – Date.
