The Nigerian Institution of Space Engineers (NISE) held its 10th National Conference and Annual General meeting on ‘Enhancing Nigerian System of Education Using Satellite Technology Under COVID-19’. The conference is designed as a platform for Nigerian Space Engineers to solve the challenge of virtual learning.
Speaking during the conference, the Guest of Honour, the Commandant Air Force Institute of Technology (AIT) Kaduna, Air Vice Marshal Abdulganiyu Adeyinka Olabisi urged the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), other MDAs in the civil and military sectors to form a robust think-tank to support space technology to enhance educational system post COVID-19.
He further encouraged space engineers to be innovative in the face of expected challenges of the pandemic and the subsequent protracted lockdown. He urged them to bridge the educational gap through virtual learning to raise globally competitive students.
