The Committee which was received by the AFIT commandant, Air Vice Marshal Sani Labaran Rabe, expressed satisfaction for the technological development in AFIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"2091\" src=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2091\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house1.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The House Committee Chairman disclosed that they have been directed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, &nbsp;Honourable Tajudeen Abbas, to visit and assess critical Nigerian Air Force institutions and provide support where necessary to enhance progress and smooth running of activities within these establishments. The chairman commended AFIT for its role in training and the manpower development of both civilian and military students from Nigeria and other parts of the world. He further assured the Institute of the National Assembly\u2019s commitment to ensure timely budget allocation to AFIT to enhance its technical capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2092\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house2.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;It was a home coming event for the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Rufus Ojuawo rtd,&nbsp; as officers were excited to welcome him to his well known terrain as an assessor. The Committee members were informed that AFIT saved the nation over twenty-five billion naira in just one training circle out of many within a period of three months. It was also disclosed that 25 Nigerian Army personnel also graduated few days ago from one of the Institute\u2019s aerospace based course at no cost due to the waiver granted to the students by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal HB Abubakar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-id=\"2093\" src=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2093\" srcset=\"https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/afit.edu.ng\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/house5.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, the AFIT Commandant, AVM SL Rabe had expressed gratitude to members of the House Committee for coming to AFIT to assess its progress. He stated that the demand for admission into AFIT by Nigerians exceeded available admission slots&nbsp; and attributed the rush for admission to the zero tolerance for strikes of any type, satisfactory student-to-lecturer ratio and adequate security.
