The Commandant, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), AVM SL Rabe, who was represented by the Director, Centre for Technical and Vocational Training, Group Captain OJ Alabi, encouraged the students to make good use of the knowledge gained during the training tour. He stated that AFIT has contributed significantly to research and development in aerospace and remains a critical component of the Nigerian Air Force research and development efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Commandant, Warrant Officers Academy, Brigadier General AC Mahmuda, who was represented by the Team leader, Lieutenant Colonel IO Kolawole, had explained that the study tour was to expose the students to the practical demonstration of instructions as well as ongoing research efforts in the Institute.
