AFIT TO COLLABORATE WITH AZMAN GROUP OF COMPANIES

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna received the Azman Group of Companies on 3 Feb 22 to collaborate in establishing the Azman University Kano. The team led by Professor Kabiru Dandago said that the purpose of their visit was to familiarize themselves with the Institute and explore areas of collaboration especially in the sector of aviation.

The Chairman Planning and Implementation Committee of the proposed University had said that the take-off courses for the University will be Aviation degree programs that will lead to the award of Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Management and Aviation Security. He also said that courses in other areas of aviation will be rolled out in later phases of the University’s development.

The Commandant AFIT, Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Aminu Yakubu while addressing the team said that although the Institute is still nascent, it has collaborated with other Institute so far to give it a face lift. He urged the team to spread its tentacles to other Institute as well noting that no Institute is an island.

Highlights of the visit included group photographs and exchange of pleasantries and souvenirs.

All newly admitted DE students are to print their admission letter from JAMB CAPS and report to AFIT for registration from 18 to 22 Nov 24. Registration for newly admitted students closes 22 Nov 24.
