THE NEW COMMANDANT OF AFIT VISITS TETFUND
The new Commandant of Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, AVM CN Udeagulu MSS psc(+) nswc MSc MBA COREN FIPM and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) on 13th March, 2018. In his speech, the Commandant of AFIT commended the huge investment of Tetfund on Infrastructure, research, training and general support to tertiary institutions in Nigeria which has contributed to the growth and development in those institutions and Nigeria as a whole.
The Commandant also briefed the Executive Secretary, TETFund, Dr. Bichi Baffa on what has been done so far and likely direction for progress with the passage of AFIT Establishment Bill into law on the 5th of December 2017. He raised the need for quick intervention of TETFund to help accelerate the growth of infrastructure and R&D of AFIT as one of the newest Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
The Executive Secretary, TETFund, thanked the Commandant AFIT and his team for the courtesy visit and promised that the Organization would ensure a quick intervention to assist the Institute in infrastructure and research and development.
