AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PAID COURTESY VISIT TO JAMB HEADQUARTERS
The new Commandant of Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, AVM CN Udeagulu MSS psc(+) nswc MSc MBA COREN FIPM has commended the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the various innovations aimed at improving admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
The Commandant made this commendation while on a courtesy visit to the headquarters of JAMB in Bwari- Abuja on 13th March, 2018. He pointed out that his purpose of visit was to further promote the collaboration of AFIT with the Board and also to seek for more areas of collaborative interest.
The Commandant also briefed the Registrar JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede on what has been done so far and likely direction for progress with the passage of AFIT Establishment Bill into law on the 5th of December 2017. He said the Institute is preparing to mount some Degree Programmes like Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Automotive Engineering. Also, MSc in Thermo-power, MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design with Airframe, Power plant and Avionics options.
In his remarks, the Registrar JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede congratulated the 24th AFIT Commandant on his recent appointment and the passage of AFIT Establishment Bill into law. He also promised to help tackle the Institute's admission challenges and prospects.
